How Yori works
A quick guide to using Yori in your group text conversations โ whether it's coordinating a repair, tracking a project, or keeping a group on the same page.
Sakina Center for Immersive Learning LLCโs Yori AI Assistant is an interactive conversational AI software platform accessible via SMS/MMS. Users individually opt in on our website (sakinacenter.org/yori) through a voluntary, unbundled consent form. Yori only messages individuals who have provided direct, prior express consent, answering questions and providing research assistance when directly queried. Yori never initiates unsolicited contact or sends promotional marketing. Terms and Conditions (sakinacenter.org/yori/terms.html) and Privacy Policy (sakinacenter.org/yori/privacy-policy.html) are provided to all users.
๐ Our 5-Step Message & Compliance Flow
To ensure complete carrier compliance and user control, Yori follows a strict, opt-in-only messaging sequence:
๐ What Yori does while it's in the thread
Yori quietly follows the conversation and keeps track of the details that matter most:
When someone promises a date โ like a technician saying "I'll have the part by Thursday" โ Yori remembers it, and will send a reminder to the group as that date approaches.
๐ฌ Asking Yori questions
Any participant in the conversation can ask Yori directly, at any time:
- Recall: "Yori, what part number did they mention?"
- Status: "Yori, when did they say it would be fixed?"
- Web search: "Yori, can you find where to buy that part?"
If asked, Yori can search the web for parts or information related to the conversation and share what it finds with everyone in the thread.
๐ Privacy & opting out
Yori only joins conversations it's explicitly added to โ never unsolicited.
- Every new conversation gets an introductory message disclosing that it's being logged
- Any participant can ask Yori to stop, or to delete the conversation's data, at any time
- Deletion is permanent โ once removed, data can't be recovered
๐ฑ Message flows
The five standard compliance messages Yori sends, shown in order.
These messages satisfy standard A2P 10DLC / CTIA compliance requirements for opt-in, opt-in confirmation, HELP, opt-out, and opt-out confirmation.
๐ก๏ธ Carrier Compliance Takeaways
For Twilio A2P 10DLC campaign registration review:
- No Cold Outreach: Yori never contacts anyone or sends messages first. The entire flow is inbound-initiated.
- Consent at Every Stage: Opt-in consent is actively captured on the web before any message is transmitted.
- Clear Disclosure: The service immediately identifies itself, explains the context (conversation logging), and provides the opt-out trigger.
- Immediate Opt-Out: Users have complete control to opt out and delete records at any point via standard keyword commands (STOP).
